Simera’s founders previously built a disruptive retail services business by hiring remote workers in Central America, with a successful $170M exit.
Staffing with remote teams allowed Simera’s founding team to rapidly scale their previous business while maintaining cost efficiency. We began with one customer service representative and quickly grew into a team of over 400 remote professionals, with roles from entry-level positions to top management.
Recognizing the growing need for skilled developers, Simera acquired Core Code in 2022, adding a pipeline of tech professionals and integrating advanced training with our recruiting solutions. Joining the Simera management team are Core Code co-founders Sofia Castillo, a systems innovator and certified AI product manager with a background in social development, and Sebastian Ibarguen, a three-time tech co-founder and software developer.
